Samantha Johnson recently earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Psychology from Purdue University. As an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Wayne W. Campbell's laboratory, her work has focused on evidence synthesis and clinical nutrition. She has contributed to multiple systematic reviews examining the effects of protein-rich foods and dietary interventions on cardiometabolic health, body composition, and chronic disease outcomes. She has presented research at Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference and Purdue Fall Research Day, and will begin the Master of Professional Studies in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship program at the University of Minnesota this fall, where she plans to specialize in eating disorders and pursue a career as a registered dietitian.
