Digital Health Invention Coordinator

Stacey Williamson is a Digital Health Intervention Coordinator at the Center for Human Nutrition, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she works in the Gittelsohn Lab on a portfolio of food systems and nutrition intervention research. A registration-eligible dietetics professional and former aerospace and systems engineer, she brings a systems science perspective to challenges at the intersection of food access, technology, and health equity. Her peer-reviewed research spans emergency preparedness in community food settings, digital food distribution technology, and dietary patterns in under-resourced urban communities. She is the first author of a 2026 study published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics examining emergency preparedness and scalability readiness across Baltimore food pantries, and has contributed to publications in Nutrients and Current Developments in Nutrition on food sourcing behaviors and app-based food systems interventions. She is currently presenting findings from BALANCE-P, a Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center–funded food systems simulation modeling project using causal loop diagrams to examine cancer-related dietary disparities in Baltimore.
