Jessica E. Keller, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Brain Health Training Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the University of Kansas Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. She earned her PhD in Medical Nutrition Science from the University of Kansas Medical Center and has extensive experience conducting human dietary intervention trials. Her research focuses on the intersection of nutrition, metabolism, aging, and disease pathogenesis, with particular interests in cognitive decline, Alzheimer’s disease, chronic pain, and ketogenic dietary interventions. Her work integrates clinical nutrition, biomarker assessment, and translational research approaches to better understand the role of metabolism in brain health and age-related disease. Dr. Keller’s long-term goal is to develop nutrition-based strategies that improve health outcomes and promote healthy aging.
