Amy LaFalce, MS, RDN, is an instructor in the Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise at Virginia Tech, where she also serves as the Director of the Internship in Nutrition and Dietetics. She teaches graduate courses in medical nutrition therapy, community nutrition, and dietetics career planning. Before joining Virginia Tech, Amy built a diverse career across clinical dietetics, clinical nutrition management, and consulting. Her contributions to the field have been recognized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, earning her the Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award (2024) and the Recognized Young Dietitian award (2009).
