Dr. Lei Wang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Division of Epidemiology, Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from Vanderbilt University in 2025. Dr. Wang is a nutritional and molecular epidemiologist specializing in 1) modifiable lifestyle factors in the development of chronic diseases; 2) diet-gut microbiota interactions and cardiometabolic health; 3) the identification of novel biomarkers through multi-omics studies for cardiometabolic diseases; and 4) real-world, EHR-based clinical epidemiologic studies of obesity treatment and cardiometabolic outcomes.
