Alexandra Venger, RD, MPH, is a Registered Dietitian and PhD candidate at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research examines how nutrition policies, including front-of-package food labelling and sugar-sweetened beverage taxes, influence retail food environments and consumer purchasing behaviour. Her work combines large-scale retail food composition, pricing, and sales data to evaluate strategies for improving population diets. Alexandra's broader research interests include nutrition policy, food systems, behavioural economics, and the application of artificial intelligence to nutrition research and food composition databases.
