Wenying Gao is a researcher in nutritional epidemiology whose work focuses on dietary behaviors, metabolic health, and chronic disease prevention. She uses population-based cohort studies to examine the associations of diet, meal timing, and lifestyle factors with lipid profiles, cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic health, and long-term health outcomes. Her current research includes prospective analyses of avocado intake and gastrointestinal health, with broader interests in translating nutritional epidemiology findings into evidence for disease prevention.
