Dr Jessica Rigutto, Dr.sc., MPH, MPharm, is the Federation of European Nutrition Societies' working group lead on improving communication and public trust in nutrition science. Through this role, she has supported a team of senior academics in the drafting of an extension to the CONSORT guidelines for nutrition randomized controlled trials.
Senior Research Scientist and lead for nutrition at the University of Notre Dame’s Global Center for the Development of the Whole Child, Jessica's research focuses on applying effective nutrition interventions using novel implementation science strategies in the most vulnerable populations. In addition, Jessica enjoys a teaching faculty role at the Institute of Food Science and Technology, ETH Zurich, Switzerland and contributes to policy guidance for WHO, UNICEF and the OECD. Jessica sits on the editorial board of the Nutrition Evidence Database, the first online search engine dedicated to peer reviewed nutrition research. She also supports the development of nutrition leaders through her role as Director of the Advanced Seminar of the European Nutrition Leadership Platform (ENLP), and stands as an ambassador for female leaders in nutrition and health roles.
