Dr. Runze Yan is Assistant Professor in the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. Dr. Yan earned his Doctorate and Master degrees in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia in 2023 and 2019, respectively, following the completion of his Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2018. His research focuses on employing machine learning and deep learning techniques to model human behaviors and predict outcomes related to health and well-being.
