Dr. Leigh Martin is a postdoctoral associate at Cornell University, working under mentorship of Dr. Yarden Golan. Her graduate research focused on the relationships between plasma volume and vitamin B12 biomarkers in non-pregnant and pregnant females. Currently, she is conducting research that examines relationships between early human milk composition and infant growth. Her personal curiosity is the maternal mind-body connection in the transition from pregnancy into lactation, and how this may influence both perceived and physiologic breastfeeding outcomes.
