A PhD student with a background in medicine in the Behavior, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCaN) program, with research focused on the low glutamate diet as a treatment for cognitive dysfunction in Gulf War veterans. Her work is part of a Phase III clinical trial combining clinical assessments and biomarker analysis to identify who is most likely to benefit cognitively from dietary intervention, conducted in the Nutritional Neuroscience Lab at American University.
