Dr. Emrah Yıldız is a faculty member and researcher specializing in gastronomy education, culinary sciences, sustainable food systems, and tourism studies. His research focuses on innovative teaching approaches in gastronomy, digital transformation in culinary education, distance learning, sustainability, food waste management, culinary identity, and gastronomic heritage. He has authored numerous academic publications, book chapters, and conference presentations in these fields and actively contributes to interdisciplinary research projects that bridge education, tourism, and food studies.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Yıldız has extensive experience in applied gastronomy education, professional culinary training, and industry collaboration. He has led and participated in various projects related to culinary camps, gastronomic tourism, sustainable consumption, and regional food culture documentation. His recent research explores emerging topics such as sustainable nutrition, circular food systems, distance learning in gastronomy, and the future of food in changing social and environmental contexts. Through his scholarship and professional engagement, he aims to advance both academic knowledge and practical innovation within the global gastronomy and hospitality sectors.
