Maurya is an MSc student in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto and a Registered Dietitian. Her research focuses on how paternal preconception lifestyle factors, including diet, can influence obesity development in their offspring. The goal of this work is to advocate for the inclusion of fathers in prenatal care to improve the health of families and children.
