Heejin Lee is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is a nutritional epidemiologist with training in dietary assessment and population-based research. Her research interests include diet quality, ultra-processed foods, and food insecurity in relation to cognitive health, aging, and chronic disease risk. Her work draws on large-scale population data to examine the relationships between dietary and social factors and health outcomes. She earned her PhD in Food and Nutrition from Seoul National University and her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Ewha Womans University.
