With metabolic health challenges reaching an all-time high, the link between human nutrition and long-term health remains a central public health focus. This session explores the broad impact of macronutrient balance and energy dynamics on metabolic function as it evolves across different stages of the human lifespan. Our speakers will synthesize historical foundations with recent findings on how dietary patterns and metabolic processes interact to influence health outcomes over time. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the factors that shape metabolic health, providing a refined foundation for considering how nutrition supports longevity from development through adulthood.
