Kaelyn Burns is a postdoctoral fellow in the Metabolic Epidemiology Branch in the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute. Kaelyn earned her PhD in epidemiology from the University at Buffalo, and her master's degree in nutrition from the University of Delaware. Her research investigates the associations between the intake of ultra-processed foods with cancer risk, and she integrates metabolomic and microbiome data into nutritional epidemiologic studies to investigate underlying mechanisms driving associations.
