I am a nutrition scientist with background in maternal and infant nutrition, breastfeeding support, and early-life feeding research. I hold a BSc and MSc in Nutrition (UFOP, Brazil) and a PhD in Food Science (UENF), which included research at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMAss/USA). I am a postdoctoral fellow at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in partnership with the Arkansas Children's Nutrition Center. I was recently certified as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in the United States.
