I serve a joint postdoctoral fellowship with the US Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine and Pennington Biomedical Research Center. My research focuses on mechanisms of degraded iron status in physically active populations. I have broad interests in micronutrient metabolism and sports nutrition.
