I am currently a fourth-year PhD Candidate in Dr. Carolyn Slupsky's lab at the University of California, Davis. My background as a registered dietitian working in neonatal intensive care inspired my transition to a career in research, where I hoped to have a more systemic impact. I use targeted NMR-based metabolomics and LC-MS-based hormone analysis to investigate maternal metabolism and endocrine function during pregnancy and lactation. I am currently working on several projects with researchers at the UC Davis Medical Center, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
