Shae Nicolaisen is a Sr. Research Project Coordinator for the JiVitA Project site in Bangladesh for the Human Nutrition program in the Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She earned her Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) from the Johns Hopkins Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health, with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Health, and holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology and Global Health from Duke University. Her research experience spans international health program evaluation, vaccination implementation research, Indigenous health, and child and adolescent health, with particular interest in adolescent nutrition and food security. Shae is passionate about translating nutrition research into evidence-based interventions that promote health and well-being across the life course.
