Jaime M. Moore, MD MPH, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Nutrition at the University of Colorado Anschutz. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obesity Medicine, with an MPH in Community and Behavioral Health. Dr. Moore is the Medical Director of the Lifestyle Medicine primary obesity clinic and sees patients in the Bariatric Surgery Center at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Her research focuses on personalizing obesity treatment using a combination of tools (lifestyle, pharmacotherapy, and surgery), and better understanding the heterogeneity in response to these treatments. In her clinical work and research, she strives to center patient/family voice and to develop products that minimize disparities in care driven by weight stigma and social vulnerability. She has led the development and implementation of clinical protocols for obesity pharmacotherapy at Children’s Hospital Colorado, and has engaged in advocacy and policy efforts to improve access to evidence-based obesity treatment.
