Jessica Danh is a Registered Dietitian and newly conferred Doctor of Philosophy in Nutrition from Georgia State University (GSU), where her dissertation examined the impact of a berry-rich diet on intestinal barrier dysfunction and the development of hypertension. She also holds an M.S. from GSU's Coordinated Program in Dietetics and a B.S. in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
Her work examines the role of dietary bioactives in intestinal barrier function and cardiovascular disease, focusing on the mechanisms by which functional foods may prevent or improve chronic disease outcomes. Her research has been supported by the USDA-NIFA Predoctoral Fellowship, the GSU Dissertation Grant Award, and the Al Baumstark Chemistry PhD Fellowship.
