Dr. Pratibha Gupta, Ph.D. is a Research Associate Professor and Director of the Human Health Assessment and Nutrigenomics Laboratory (HHANL) at Central State University, Ohio. Her research focuses on nutrigenomics, precision nutrition, obesity and diabetes prevention, Food as Medicine, and chronic disease prevention in underserved populations. She leads multidisciplinary research integrating nutrigenomic biomarkers, bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), and personalized nutrition to advance precision health.
Dr. Gupta is the Principal Investigator of a USDA/NIFA-funded 1890 Capacity Building Grant investigating nutrigenomic approaches to obesity prevention and has extensive experience in community-based nutrition interventions, metabolic health assessment, and translational research. She has presented her work at national and international scientific conferences and is committed to translating cutting-edge nutrition science into practical strategies that improve public health and reduce health disparities.
