Kevin Short, PhD, FACSM is a Professor of Pediatrics and the Children’s Medical Research, Inc. Choctaw Nation Endowed Chair in Pediatric Endocrinology. He earned graduate degrees in exercise physiology and completed post-doctoral training in endocrinology and metabolism. For the past 20 years his research has examined the impact of exercise, obesity, diabetes, and liver disease on cardiometabolic health in children and young adults.
