Nicole Wong is a PhD candidate in Food Science and Technology with a specialization in Clinical Nutrition at the National University of Singapore. Her work explores how dietary protein quantity and source influence human metabolism and cardiometabolic health through the application of metabolomics. She is particularly interested in identifying metabolic pathways that link dietary exposures to cardiometabolic risk factors and translating these findings into practical dietary recommendations for older Asian populations. Her studies span clinical trials, observational research, and biomarker discovery using advanced mass spectrometry-based metabolomics.
