Sean Adams, M.S, Ph.D., is Professor and Vice Chair for Basic Research in the Dept. of Surgery at UC Davis. He also serves as the Director of the Nutrition for Transformative Healthcare Program and he is the Scientific Director for the Center for Alimentary and Metabolic Science (CAMS) in the School of Medicine. Research in these centers span from molecules to whole body nutrition and physiology, expanding fundamental knowledge with relevance to thwarting disease, improving health, and optimizing function.
