Nolan Hedglin holds a dual B.S. in Physics and Math with Honors from the United States Military Academy (USMA '18) and a dual M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Tech Policy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT '20). In his 10 years as a Cyber Operations Officer (17A), Nolan deployed to Iraq as a Cyber Planner (2022), served as the Technical Director for Cyber National Mission Force Task Force 2 (2023), Company Commander for 150 Soldiers and Civilians in A/781st MI BN (Cyber) (2023-2024), Chief of Plans for 780th MI BDE (Cyber) (2024), and as Course Director and Instructor in the USMA Math Department (2025-2028). Nolan is interested in leveraging his background in Applied Mathematics and Cybersecurity to lead a highly technical team that provides critical solutions in healthcare, financial, or consumer technology. He has research experience in a wide variety of Applied Math topics, including constrained optimization, encryption, and various machine learning architectures.
