Becky Jungbauer is the Director of Public Health Practice and Assistant Professor in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health at Oregon Health & Science University. She integrates evidence-based research and public health practice in her work with community organizations, governmental public health departments, academic hospitals, and health companies. Her research and practice interests include food and nutrition security and food is medicine work with perinatal and pediatric populations and households, community-engaged and designed work exploring impementation and quality improvement with real world outcomes, and developmental origins of health and disease. She also works with the Pacific Northwest Evidence-based Practice Center on systematic and comparative effectiveness reviews for AHRQ, USPSTF, PCORI, and professional associations. Dr. Jungbauer has a DrPH in Public Health and masters degrees in Public Health and Health Journalism, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Colombia.
