Samantha C. Grounds, MPH, CPH, is a Nutrition & Health Researcher with the Agriculture, Food, and Nutrition Evidence Center, of Texas A&M AgriLife Research. At the Evidence Center, she supports evidence synthesis projects that inform various public health initiatives, following rigorous methods. In previous positions, Grounds supported a randomized controlled trial evaluating cash assistance for acute malnutrition prevention, studied cellular iron metabolism, and conducted qualitative research on infant feeding practices. She also has experience in food security and resilience, large-scale food fortification, and infectious diseases.
