Leah Lipsky, PhD, MHS, is a Staff Scientist in the Intramural Research Program of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Her research uses observational and experimental methods to examine multilevel influences on eating behaviors, diet quality, weight, and related health outcomes during critical developmental periods. She serves on multiple NIH nutrition, obesity, and social & behavioral science research committees and on the editorial boards of the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity. She holds a Ph.D. in nutrition from Cornell, an M.H.S. in international health from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a B.A. in economics and music from Oberlin College.
