Research Scientist
Kaiser Permanente Northern California
Pleasanton, California, United States
I'm a Registered Dietitian and Research Scientist at Kaiser Permanente Northern California, where I explore how where we live and how we manage health during pregnancy can shape obesity risk in the next generation. My research integrates social and environmental determinants of health, gestational diabetes, and childhood growth and obesity through a life course lens. My work is supported by an NICHD K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award, as well as additional federal and state-funded research grants. I also serve on several committees in ASN, which has come to feel like a second academic home.
